Softball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

Lexington and Pontiac squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lexington had to settle for second. They fell 10-6 to the Indians. The Minutemen were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in May of 2022.

Lexington has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. As for Pontiac, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.

Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pontiac, they will face off against Princeton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
