Volleyball Recap: York Comes Up Short

York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palma Chieftains.

York's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Palma, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

York will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rancho San Juan at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Palma, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Everett Alvarez at 6:00 p.m.
