Basketball Recap: Searcy Comes Up Short

Searcy was the 79-61 winner over Nettleton when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Searcy Lions received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 67-48 to the Nettleton Raiders.

Searcy's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Nettleton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

While Searcy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
