Volleyball Recap: Columbus School for Girls Unicorns vs. Franklin Heights Falcons
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Ready, Columbus School for Girls was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Franklin Heights Falcons 3-0. The Unicorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.
Columbus School for Girls walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-17.
Khyan Curry paced Columbus School for Girls' offense, picking up nine kills. Curry got some help from Kiersten Cahill and her 19 assists. Isabella Mcintyre controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Despite the loss, Franklin Heights had strong showings from Carli Wallace, who had 12 digs and seven assists, and Abraya Johnson, who had six digs. Wallace is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.
