Baseball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch suffered their biggest loss since May 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 9-2 to the Amador Valley Dons. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nathan Fritzler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Zack Gregson, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one stolen base.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Amador Valley, they moved to 8-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antioch will welcome West at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Amador Valley, they will take on Rancho Mirage in a tournament on Thursday.
