Baseball Recap: Bogue Chitto Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bogue Chitto can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Forrest Eagles by a score of 7-5 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bobcats have suffered since February 18th.

Warren Wallace was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Tripp McCaffrey was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

With the defeat, Bogue Chitto broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-11. As for North Forrest, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
