Softball Recap: Warroad Takes a Loss

Warroad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Grand Forks Green Wave. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat back in April.

Warroad's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for East Grand Forks, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Warroad nor East Grand Forks have any future games scheduled.
