Basketball Recap: Louisville Comes Up Short

Louisville lost against Auburn back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Louisville Lions were dealt a 59-31 loss at the hands of the Auburn Bulldogs. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Louisville's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Auburn, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Louisville will welcome Nebraska City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Auburn, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Elmwood-Murdock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
