Volleyball Recap: Liberty Union Takes a Loss

Liberty Union extended their losing streak to 15 on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-19. They lost 3-0 to the Fairfield Union Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

As for Fairfield Union, their victory ended an eight-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Brooklynn Ash went supernova, getting 16 digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she's played.

Liberty Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Miller on the 11th. Fairfield Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
