Basketball Game Preview: Seneca East Tigers vs. Buckeye Central Bucks

The Seneca East Tigers will face off against the Buckeye Central Bucks at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Seneca East came up short against Upper Sandusky and fell 50-38. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Buckeye Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Mohawk 78-37. While losing is never fun, the Bucks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 662nd, while the Warriors are ranked 147th).

Seneca East's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Buckeye Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Everything went Seneca East's way against Buckeye Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Seneca East made off with a 67-46 win. Will Seneca East repeat their success, or does Buckeye Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
