Bronson came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Reading Rangers 11-1. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Matthew Arver, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Kamron Brackett was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Bronson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Reading only posted an OBP of .280.

Bronson's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Reading, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Bronson will head out to challenge Maple Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reading, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Stockbridge at 3:45 p.m.
