Basketball Game Preview: North Harrison Cougars vs. Corydon Central Panthers

North Harrison and Corydon Central are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the North Harrison Cougars take on the Corydon Central Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Harrison took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They took down West Washington 50-35. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Corydon Central didn't have too much trouble with Madison on Saturday as they won 49-31.

Corydon Central's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for North Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Things could have been worse for North Harrison, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-27 loss to Corydon Central in their previous meeting back in January of 2024.
