Baseball Recap: Oakdale Comes Up Short

Oakdale dropped to 7-3 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They lost 13-3 to the New Iberia Yellowjackets. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

As for New Iberia, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

For New Iberia's part, Myles Jones was a standout: he got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those four runs gave Jones a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryker Meyers, who went 4-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
