League recap: Oldsey throws longest pass in league this season for Pennington

Greg Oldsey and Moses Vigo provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Riverdale Country. The connection was good for 75 yards, the longest such play in Freelance this season.

The Falcons scaled the state rankings by moving to 47 from 396 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Riverdale Country climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Pennington 34-32.

The Red Raiders' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Oldsey threw for 297 and 3 touchdowns and Vigo had 191 yards receiving. On the ground Jalen Daniels chipped in 55 yards. Derek Hullings helped Pennington's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 83 yards.

Bryce Sistrunk-Lewis was a key player and the best on defense this week as Pennington lost to the Falcons. The 5-foot-8 senior grabbed 1 interception.

He went 15-23 with 1 interception.

Oldsey put up the best numbers through the air as Jerry Eure's team fell to Riverdale Country. Oldsey's favorite target this week was Vigo, who caught 9 passes for 191 yards.

Pennington's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Oldsey has thrown for 1,103 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Vigo has 36 catches for 594 yards.
