Basketball Recap: Fitch's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Saturday

With a playoff win on the line, Fitch rose to the challenge on Saturday. They strolled past the Hillhouse Academics with points to spare, taking the game 47-33. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Academics are ranked 95th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fitch now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Hillhouse, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-12.

As of now, neither Fitch nor Hillhouse have any future games scheduled.
