Soccer Recap: North Clarion's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Monday

North Clarion was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Punxsutawney Chucks by a score of 3-1. Given North Clarion's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Punxsutawney are ranked 448th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Clarion's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Punxsutawney, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
