Basketball Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss

Woodlawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 84-52 loss at the hands of the Milford Mill Academy Millers. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Millers are ranked 87th).

Woodlawn's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Milford Mill Academy, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Woodlawn will challenge Forest Park on Friday. Forest Park will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Woodlawn surely won't give up without a fight. Milford Mill Academy has already played their next contest (against Dundalk), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
