Corinth Holders gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past the Hunt Warriors 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Corinth Holders was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-16.

Carson Hetzell paced Corinth Holders' offense, picking up ten kills. Hetzell got some help from Alayna Slabaugh and her 15 assists. Hetzell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Corinth Holders wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Clayton on the 13th. As for Hunt, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Princeton on the 12th.
