Soddy Daisy won against Hixson on Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Soddy Daisy beat Hixson by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-3. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Soddy Daisy pushed their record up to 12-6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hixson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Coming up, Soddy Daisy will be taking part in a tournament against Floyd Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hixson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hixson is facing East Ridge at the right time seeing as East Ridge is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
