After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage Christian, Van Nuys was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Vaughn White Tigers. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the White Tigers, too.

Nate Renard was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Alejandro Diaz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Van Nuys' win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Vaughn, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-10.

Van Nuys will have a chance to go back-to-back against the White Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
