Houston Buck put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

Buck's strong effort led Chamblee over Tri-Cities and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
