Softball Recap: Swanton Comes Up Short

Swanton fell victim to Archbold and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Blue Streaks, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Swanton moved to 6-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Archbold, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Swanton has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Toledo Christian on the 23rd. As for Archbold, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-3 victory against Wauseon on the 24th.
