Magnificat kept a clean sheet against Steele on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Comets, sneaking past 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Magnificat were the better team in the second half.

Magnificat's record now sits at 5-6-6. As for Steele, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magnificat will take on Whitmer in a tournament on Tuesday. Magnificat will be up against Whitmer's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.65 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Steele, they will welcome North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Steele will need to watch out since North have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
