Football Recap: Lenape Comes Up Short on the Road Against Cherokee

Lenape had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Cherokee Chiefs, falling 42-21. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Cherokee has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Lenape will be playing in front of their home fans against Ocean City at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Cherokee, they are taking a road trip to challenge St. Augustine Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th.
