Progreso's contest on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on the Idea Academy Titans with a sharp 4-1 victory. Progreso might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Progreso, bringing their record up to 11-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Idea Academy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.

Progreso didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against IDEA Weslaco Pike on the 30th. As for Idea Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 13-1 victory against Raymondville on the 3rd.
