Baseball Game Preview: Washington Eagles vs. Hillsdale Fighting Knights

The Washington Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Hillsdale Fighting Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hillsdale took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Washington, who comes in off a win.

Washington played against The Academy - San Francisco on Thursday and won via forfeit.

Hillsdale is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Capuchino.

Hillsdale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Belloni, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Washington and bumps their season record up to 11-16. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Hillsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
