Soccer Game Preview: Canyon View vs. Juab

The Canyon View Falcons will square off against the Juab Wasps at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Canyon View sitting on three straight wins and Juab on four.

Canyon View's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They blew past Emery 5-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Canyon View considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Juab ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They beat Richfield by a goal, winning 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Juab were the better team in the second half.

Nixon Curtis and Brody Salgado scored all three of Juab's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Canyon View pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for Juab, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
