Football Recap: First Coast Buccaneers vs. Bishop Kenny Crusaders
First Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bishop Kenny Crusaders, falling 31-6. The Buccaneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Bishop Kenny had a senior duo take command as Derek Heideman threw for 121 yards and a touchdown and Jp Donovan picked up 86 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jelani Dawkins made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

As for Bishop Kenny, they are taking a road trip to take on Westside at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Westside will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
