Soccer Recap: Liberty Common Plays to a Tie

While Liberty Common scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. They and the Loveland Classical Lions finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Liberty Common's first draw of the season.

Josiah Lacy and Wyatt Frevert scored both of Liberty Common's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Liberty Common's draw gives them a new season record of 0-3-1. Meanwhile, Loveland Classical's record is now 2-2-1.

Liberty Common wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Wellington on the 8th. As for Loveland Classical, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Frontier Academy at 4:00 p.m.
