Volleyball Recap: Gwynn Park Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Gwynn Park was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets fell 3-1 to the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 22-25, 25-10, 25-16.

Gwynn Park now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Gwynn Park will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Parkdale at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, after both having extra time off, they and Central will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
