Volleyball Recap: Hayden Takes a Loss

Hayden lost against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Hayden lost, don't look at Chloe Watts. Despite the final result, she had ten kills and three aces. Watts is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Haven Breen, who had nine digs and two aces.

Hayden's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-17 record this season.

Hayden has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Brindlee Mountain on the 20th. As for Mt. Bethel Christian Academy, they will square off against Mount Paran Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
