Softball Recap: Perth Amboy Comes Up Short

If Perth Amboy was feeling good fresh off their 17-7 takedown of Carteret on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 10-4 to the Edison Eagles on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Perth Amboy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Edison, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Perth Amboy is set to challenge their familiar foe Piscataway at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Edison will take on rival East Brunswick Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
