McKinney North skates past South Garland with ease

The McKinney North Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 70-31 victory over South Garland on the road. That's another feather in the cap for McKinney North, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, South Garland saw an underclassman step up: Elijah Darden scored 14 points. The contest was Darden's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Michael Bea, who scored 6 points.
McKinney North's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for South Garland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
McKinney North will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. As for South Garland, they will square off against Newman Smith at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Newman Smith presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Garland in Texas (Newman Smith is ranked 567th, while South Garland is ranked 1204th).
