Football Preview: Trinity Bulldogs vs. Union Academy Cardinals
The Trinity Bulldogs will take on the Union Academy Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Meanwhile, Union Academy entered their tilt with Bessemer City on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 20-10 win over the Yellow Jackets.
A big part of the victory came down to the chemistry between Parker Frashier and his top target Breshen Bennett. Frashier threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns while Bennett picked up 58 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave Frashier a new career-high in rushing yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Union Academy's defense and their six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Bennett and Michael Hughes who racked up four sacks between them. Hughes is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last 13 games he's played dating back to last season.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Union Academy, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.
Trinity didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Union Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, but they still walked away with a 14-10 victory.
