Baseball Game Preview: Bloomington Bobcats vs. Weimar Wildcats

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Weimar ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Flatonia 10-9. The Wildcats' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

The team relied heavily on Braden Mueller, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Janecka, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Weimar kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Bloomington's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Weimar, they moved to 5-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
