Baseball Recap: Rocky River Comes Up Short

Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 24-7 to the Butler Bulldogs. One positive for the Ravens, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Rocky River's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Butler, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.

Butler didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-11 defeat against Palisades on the 27th. Hopefully Rocky River payed attention to Butler's matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
