Baseball Recap: Beverly Hills Has No Trouble Against Morningside

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Culver City, Beverly Hills was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Morningside Monarchs. The Normans haven't had any issues with the Monarchs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Tova Bodner made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Race Findley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Beverly Hills is undefeated when Findley posts two or more stolen bases, but 3-10-1 otherwise. Jayden Ibarra also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Beverly Hills' record is now 6-10-1. As for Morningside, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Beverly Hills will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Monarchs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
