Tri-Valley entered their tilt with Williams Valley on Thursday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-18.

Faith Melocheck paced Tri-Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Melocheck got some help from Callie Melocheck and her 23 assists. Callie was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Williams Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Tri-Valley will venture away from home to square off against Halifax at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Williams Valley, they will head out to face off against Shenandoah Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
