Napa is 10-0 against American Canyon since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Napa Grizzlies are taking a road trip to square off against the American Canyon Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Napa's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Napa gave up the first goal on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged Justin-Siena out 2-1. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Braves are ranked 1006th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, American Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Casa Grande. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Wolves couldn't quite close it out.

Napa's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-3. As for American Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10-3.

Napa beat American Canyon 2-0 in their previous meeting on January 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Napa since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
