Basketball Recap: Macee Rodman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City over Central a & M

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 47-40 to the Central A & M Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly seven points.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Macee Rodman, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Doty, who posted 11 points.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's loss dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Central A & M, their win bumped their record up to 10-18.

Coming up, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Farina South Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central A & M, they will head out to face off against Tuscola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
