Volleyball Recap: Foothill Tech Comes Up Short

Foothill Tech and South El Monte squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Foothill Tech had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Foothill Tech actually scored more points across those five sets (104-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-20, 15-25, 25-22, 16-25, 15-12.

Foothill Tech's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for South El Monte, they pushed their record up to 18-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Foothill Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South El Monte, they are taking a road trip to take on Morro Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
