Volleyball Recap: ALA - Queen Creek Takes a Loss

ALA - Queen Creek was the 3-1 winner over Flagstaff when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sara Bowcutt paced ALA - Queen Creek's offense, picking up 22 kills. Bowcutt got some help from Mckenna Kehoe and her 29 assists. Kehoe was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

ALA - Queen Creek's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Flagstaff, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

ALA - Queen Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Williams Field on the 20th. As for Flagstaff, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mohave at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
