Softball Recap: Daniel Takes a Loss

Daniel lost to Palmetto on April 1st and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Mustangs, falling 11-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Daniel saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Hedlund-Hoover, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Daniel's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Palmetto, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Daniel has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 victory against Greer on the 1st. Palmetto does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
