Softball Game Preview: Ferndale Yellow Jackets vs. United Lions

The Ferndale Yellow Jackets will face off against the United Lions at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ferndale had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Glendale put an end to it on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets came up short against the Vikings, falling 12-1. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ferndale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrielle Leverknight, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, United was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to Portage.

United's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Ferndale, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
