Softball Recap: Doniphan West Comes Up Short

Doniphan West lost against Onaga on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 14-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Doniphan West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Denton, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Brennah Edie, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Doniphan West's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Onaga, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Doniphan West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Onaga, they are taking a road trip to square off against Blue Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.75 runs per game on average), something the Buffaloes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
