Willmar extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jordan Blahosky. Everything went the Cardinals' way against the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Blahosky, who had 14 digs and five aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

While Willmar won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-18.

Willmar's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willmar will welcome St. Cloud Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they will host Paynesville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
