Volleyball Recap: Northview Finds Playoff Glory Versus Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory

With a playoff win on the line, Northview rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Northview never let Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20.

Leading Northview to victory were Addi Dehart and Carmen Briscoe. Dehart had six digs and two aces, while Briscoe had 14 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Briscoe has posted since back in September of 2024.

Northview pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will venture away from home to take on Plainfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
