Basketball Recap: Manchester Academy Takes a Loss

Manchester Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Delta Streets Academy Lions, falling 62-42. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-38 back in December of 2024.

Manchester Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Delta Streets Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing St. Joseph the next time they take the court. Delta Streets Academy will head out to face St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Manchester Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
