Rocksprings is 10-0 against Medina since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Rocksprings Angoras will take on the Medina Bobcats in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rocksprings is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Comstock: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Rocksprings blew Comstock out of the water with a 56-6 final score. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-2.

Rocksprings can attribute much of their success to Alektra Hernandez, who posted 20 points. Katie Riojas was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Medina was able to grind out a solid victory over Knippa on Tuesday, taking the game 34-23. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Medina is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.0 points per game. As for Rocksprings, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14.

Everything came up roses for Rocksprings against Medina when the teams last played back in February, as the team secured an 81-21 victory. In that contest, Rocksprings amassed a halftime lead of 40-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
