Softball Recap: Gardner Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

With a playoff win on the line, Gardner rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Cohasset Skippers.

Gardner is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cohasset, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

As of now, neither Gardner nor the Skippers have any future games scheduled.
